Mission Accomplished

Photoshoots aren't fun.

It's been one day after another, for better or worse, but tonight we're ending on a high note. I've had some incredible shoots with photographer, Torsten Bangerter; and hairstylist, Alexis Anderson, this weekend. Guess you could say we're pretty tight, dawg. We make sweet music together, crackin' jokes and such. Totes professional. None of that funny business. (In love with them both. It's pretty serious.)

I've also had the opportunity to meet fashionista, Beatriz Flores, and little giant, Hannah Hospital/Gale. Beatriz is a sweetheart, and on a roll with a blog all her own, Bootz, Inc. Definitely worth a peek, readers. Girl's got style! Glad we could help her out with some snazzy pictures.

Hannah Hos-pit-al, you gorgeous creature, I've fallen in love. This girl's already rockin' the modeling world at 17 years old, and kickin' some serious trash! Now, I'm not that old, but when I start looking back and wishing I knew what it was I wanted to do--at least--in high school, I feel ancient. Gotta stop doing that. Moving on.

Hannah's got all the pep and personality I hope to God I had at that age. So precious. Talented, too! That hair's something she put together herself. The face, not so much. Can't pick up something that pretty from any 'ole chop-shop, people. Girl is au naturale.

Unlike Beatriz', Hannah's photoshoot was ridiculously spontaneous. We're talking 30 minute warning, an hour later, and we pulled out some sick-wicked pictures. I'm in love with the turn-out! I've come to realize the less I have to think about a look, the better the outcome. One look, and I knew exactly what I wanted, drawing inspiration from her wardrobe and that incredible hair! This needed color and personality. We got both.

A few kicks, giggles, hours, (days) later, I tied up the night with a visit to the hospital. Sick soon-to-be-sissy-in-law, needed junk food and Netflix. Tonight's feature: The Evil Dead. None of that fan-dangled, 2013, people. Classic 80's, axe-weilding, milk-spewing, blood-gushing, forest-raping Bruce Campbell.

Good times, good times; but now, bedtime. Need to save some fun for later!
